Clock the caravans

Each NPC follows a two or three day cadence. Shadow them once to document arrival hour, then log it inside your console for reminders.

• Herbalist appears every even day at dawn.
• Smith arrives every third night after storms.
• Mail carrier swaps gifts at noon.

Bundle barter loads

NPCs pay a bonus for curated kits: wood bundles, spice baskets, or finished pies. Craft them the night before to maximize goodwill.

Route overlays and rest stops

Build roadside caches to refuel them. Merchants who reach the burrow warm (>=60) stock additional blueprint pages.

• Place a brazier midway along every major trade road.
• Post signage so NPCs know the cache is public.
• Track which villager refilled it last for relationship XP.

Gifting and reputation tiers

Gifts unlock tool skins and renovation discounts. Use high-value crafted goods on friendship breakpoints such as 30, 60, and 90.

• Seasonal pies count double during festivals.
• Deliver repair kits for +15 relation instantly.
• Carry tea for emergency rapport whenever you travel.
